St. John Ambulance drills caregivers

Listen to this article

St. John Ambulance has drilled 34 caregivers with skills on how to take care of chronically ill patients at home. Speaking in Blantyre on Friday when presenting certificates to the caregivers, St. John Ambulance national coordinator Eleanor Kumdana urged the caregivers to put the skills they have learned to good use. “The aim of the training is for you to assist others as well as pass on the skills to guardians and your fellow caregivers so that patients can be taken care of right in our communities,” said Kumdana.—MERCY MALIKWA, Staff Reporter
