Students Magazine in aid of KCH mortuary

The Students Magazine

, in partnership with Graphix Solutions, has mobilised resources towards the rehabilitation of the broken down Kamuzu Central Hospital (KCH) mortuary.

In an interview with The Nation, The Student Magazine managing director Vasco Madhlopa said they have sourced K200 000 towards the rehabilitation of the mortuary and are raising more from well-wishers.

“We do not want to point fingers, but we want to offer solutions and be involved in the process of making a difference. This donation might seem little to some, but we believe it will still make a difference in many ways,” says Madhlopa.

KCH was closed due to the breakdown of cold rooms, which saw rotten bodies being taken to a mass grave on Monday.
