Student’s magazine launch on 17 May

In an effort to promote a reading culture and also improve the literary skills in students in various schools and colleges in the country, Students Magazine will be launched on 17th May at the College of Medicine Sports Complex.

The magazine comprises stories contributed by students themselves. In an exclusive interview with The Nation, Charity Khonje a representative of Students Magazine from Skyway College said the magazine is a platform for students to share experiences but also showcase their capabilities to the larger world.

“The magazine is not only for students but for everyone so we have a variety of articles that anyone can enjoy,” said Khonje.

The launch is expected to be spiced by performances from students from various colleges as well as from Nde’feyo, Mr Jokes and Chindimendi Samalani. Speakers at the event will include Dr Matthews Mtumbuka and Minister of Education Eunice Kazembe.

The magazine will be selling at K350 and will be on sale on the day of the launch.
