The Super League of Malawi (Sulom) has said it is yet to determine the kick off date for the second round of the TNM Super League.

Sulom general secretary (GS) Williams Banda said the determination will only be made after consulting FAM regarding the calendar of the Fisd Cup.

“But it should be within September,” he said.

The Sulom GS has since said the transfer window will be open for two weeks.

The transfer window opened yesterday following the conclusion of the first round on Sunday.

“Transfer window shall be open until August 30 and we are reminding all the clubs and players to abide by transfer rules and regulations.

“Any club or player that will contravene the rules will be punished accordingly.”

Meanwhile, a number of teams have said they will beef up their squads during the break.

Defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets chairperson Noel Lipipa said they are targeting a central defender, midfielder and a striker.

“I cannot disclose the names at this stage, but I can confirm that the process has already started,” he said.

Civil Service (Civo) United, PremierBet Wizards FC and table anchors MTV Max Bullets are some of the teams that have also hinted on beefing up their squads.
