Sunbird in Valentine’s mood
Love is in the air as Malawians join the rest of the world in celebrating Valentine’s Day—a day people celebrate love. This year the day falls on a Saturday—tomorrow. On the day, couples spoil each other with gifts and treat their partners with expressions that show how much they care.
Sunbird Tourism Limited is this year offering a unique wayin which couples can express their love to each other at its hotels and resorts across Malawi.
Sunbird Ku Chawe in Zomba will hold a lovers’ dinner and dance in its Mulunguzi Restaurant which at K11 000 per person
Patio Restaurant at Sunbird Lilongwe will host a Valentine’s Dinner at K16 000 for a couple and K9 000 single.
At Sunbird Capital, there will be a Valentine’s themed buffet at Mimosa Restaurant at K7500 per person.
Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi will offer a Valentine’s getaway for two inclusive of bed, breakfast and dinner at K 68 450.
Sunbird Mzuzu will have a Valentine’s dinner and dance in Kaning’ina Room at K18 000 double and K9 500 single.

Sunbird public relations officer Akossa Mphepo said they would like to help their clients create moments they will hold on to as sweet memories through the years.
“We would want them to have fun and fall in love with each other all over again at the dinner dances we’ve organised at Sunbird Ku Chawe, Mount Soche and Mzuzu,” said Mphepo.
All events will take place tomorrow, but Mzuzu will have an early Valentine’s treat tonight with a dinner and dance.
