Support move to second in CRFA Chipiku League

Support Battalion have moved to second position in the K7.5 million Central Region Football Association (CRFA) Chipiku League after victories over Maicc FC and Dowa United at the weekend.

On Saturday, Panji Botha and Jacob Tembo were on target to condemn Maicc FC to another third successive loss.

Botha and Jimmy Banda were on target on Sunday to see of Dowa United.

The two wins mean Support now have displaced Msundwe United on second position. They now have 47 points just 10 behind leaders Dwangwa United.

Dwangwa have played 26 games, one more than Support Batallion.

Msundwe United have moved to third position on 46 points from 26 games whereas as Dowa are fourth on 41 points from 25 games. n
