Rookies TN Stars yesterday provided the biggest upset in Carlsberg Cup Round of 32 when they stunned Lilongwe giants Civil Sporting Club 2-1 at Kasungu Stadium.

TNM Super League current top goal-scorer Stain Dave masterminded Civil’s downfall, scoring the all-important winning goal for the Kasungu-based outfit.

The hosts scored first through Trouble Banda but Civil got an equaliser from an own goal, before Dave secured the victory.

Bullets assistant coach Eliah Kananji said they are not underrating the Chipiku League rookies.
