Livingstonia Synod Aids Programme (Lisap) on Thursday donated bags of fertiliser and maize seed worth K1.5 million to 45 households with vulnerable children at Mzokoto in Rumphi.
Each household received two bags of urea fertiliser and five kilogrammes of maize seed.
Lisap project manager Humphreys Banda said the synod wants to improve the health of vulnerable children in the area.
Chairperson of the consortium committee looking after vulnerable children the Reverend Thadius Kanyinji thanked Lisap for the donation.
Lisap, with funding from Greenwell Street Church, is implementing a three-year project at Mzokoto in Rumphi.
