Tay Grin: The song is nice

He said: “This collaboration is one of the fruits from my Zambian trip. Such kind of collaborations will help me cement my brand in Zambia.

“There is certainly more that has been planned as we work towards getting more music and presence on the Zambian market.”

Besides this duet, Tay Grin is also expected to perform at the

Lusaka Live Concert which will be headlined by Namadingo. The rapper is expected to feature at the November 27 gig under the invitation of Elation Entertainment and Namadingo.

The song itself was recorded at Elation Record Studio in Zambia by SoundBoy. The Zimbabwean provided the opening hook, with Tay Grin weighing in with his rap bar and Roberto also made a good account of himself with his verse.

The rapper revealed that the trio will shoot the video of the song soon. He also expressed gratitude with the outcome of the project.

“Three big African names came together to make a hit song. It is a great feeling to give our fans top quality music and something uniquely created by three great artists. The song is nice and I am sure it will be loved by many of our fans,” he said.

Tay Grin and Namadingo recently made a highly-publicised tour of Zambia where, among others, they held radio and TV interviews with a number of Zambian media houses.

On top of that Tay Grin also had an audience with the Elation Entertainment Label managing team

Chungus have influenced many artists in Malawi that is why they decided to bring them together.

“The preparations are going on well and we are going to have few established Malawian artists for the concert, but mostly we would like to shine a light on upcoming artists who have never had a chance to perform on a big stage like that,” she said.

Mhango asked Malawians to patronise the show in large numbers and promised a fun-filled clean and civilised show.

In a telephone interview, Pompi confirmed his availability at the show.

“I just want our fans to come in large numbers to experience a conduit of God’s Kingdom. One thing I love about Malawi is that my grandfather was from Malawi, Nsanje district is where my village is so Malawi is family to me,’’ he said.

On his part, Abel said he was excited to come to Malawi together with his wife, adding that his team is also prepared for an epic time.

The songbird added that although this will not be his first time performing in Malawi, the forthcoming show is unique to him because he will share the stage with his wife which he described as “a great blessing”. Standard tickets for the concert are being sold at k10 000
