‘Technical support crucial in digital migration’
Malawi Digital Broadcast Network Limited (MDBNL) says television (TV) installers and Malawi Posts Corporation (MPC) staff are crucial in ensuring the smooth process of digital migration.
MDBNL director of marketing, John Mchilikizo, said this in Blantyre on Friday when he opened a day-long training in installation, repairing and managing digital decorders.
He said MPC staff and TV installers should have knowledge about how digital decoders work to explain to clients.
“They will be equipped with necessary skills that will help them support the customers. If officers at these institutions have knowledge about digital decoders, clients will have little problems,” said Mchilikizo.
MPC deputy director responsible for operations Shadreck Vokhiwa said the training will solve problems postal staff face when assisting clients. n
