Thondwe eye Mutharika League seat
Rookies Thondwe United have an opportunity to lead the table of the Peter Mutharika Southern Region Football League (SRFL) Premier Division this weekend.
With 22 points from 10 games, one point behind leaders Evirom, Thondwe meet White Eagles today and Mwanza Eagles on Sunday.
Evirom are not in action this weekend, hence, Thondwe’s opportunity to lead the pack. Third-placed White Eagles, who have 19 points, too, can consolidate their third spot.
In other games, fourth-placed Polytechnic on 18 points take on Zomba United and BNC Produsak at Zomba Community ground and Escom ground on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
