Nyasa Big Bullets FC technical director Billy Tewesa has said they are expecting three trialists from West Africa by the end of the week.
The three are defender Nanou Somian Jonathan and striker Som Sie Ezechiel from Cote d’ Ivoire and Togolese midfielder Lamboni Damigou.
“We are in touch with an agency which handles them and we expect them to arrive by Friday,” said Tewesa
But Tewesa said he did not have enough details about the trio’s track records.
However, the club’s interim general secretary Kelvin Moyo yesterday contradicted Tewesa, saying they were waiting for information from the agency as to who would meet the costs of hosting the trio.
“It is the agency that contacted us about these players and we do not have a clue on their capabilities and, as such, we cannot commit to foot the costs of hosting them here.
“If the agency is prepared to meet the costs of their stay here, then fine and good; otherwise our budget is tight at the moment and we cannot afford. So, we are waiting to hear from them,” he said.
