Cedrick was injured as the two men abducted the boy, according to police investigator Isaac Ndala

The incident happened two days after the boy’s father left home for the lake to fish, according to the investigator whose team is currently hunting for the suspects and is investing the issue further.

In 2015, police in Machinga arrested Collin Zulu from Dedza for abducting his biological son aged six.

He connived with three other men to abduct the boy, but communities at Nyambi in the district became suspicious and apprehended them few kilometres before crossing over into Mozambique.

Zulu‘s case is still in court as the boy was handed back to his mother who said could not understand her husband’s lust for cash.
