The team’s management executive Winfred Valantine said they are hoping to go into strategic partnership by helping to promote and sell Kips Restaurant’s products.

“We want to venture into a strategic partnership which will lead to both parties benefiting. As a first step, during the Presidential National Cup this coming weekend, we will be selling food from Kips to other teams at reduced prices.

“It is our desire and intention to make this partnership a win-win affair where in which both parties should benefit,” said Valentine.

Apart from offering Thunder Queens pre-match meals at a considerable discount, Kips also provide the team with sports attire.

And according to the club’s general secretary Ishmael Kazembe, Kips have also hired retired Fifa assistant referee Moffat Champiti as a physical trainer to drill the team ahead of the Presidential Cup.

“Apart from physical fitness, he is also drilling the players on how to deal with aerial balls.

“Our partnership with Kips Restaurant has been cordial since November last year during the Gotv tournament and they have been with us all along,” he said.
