Excitement gripped Nkhamenya Trading Centre in Kasungu on Tuesday where a crowd gathered to witness TNM plc handing over a motorbike worth K1.5 million to Zampira Promotion winner James Kamanga.

The TN Stars fan won after correctly predicting the outcome of a TNM Super League match between Kasungu-based TN Stars and Mzuzu University (Mzuni) FC which ended 2-1 in favour of the former.

Kamanga and his father get the feel of the motorbike

TNM distribution manager Chimwemwe Mganga handed over the motorbike to the excited Kamanga.

Kamanga, who was accompanied by his father, said he could not believe his luck.

“When I was informed about the news, it did not seem real. Now I have this motorbike and I just cannot express my happiness. It is something I never thought would happen to me,” he said.

Kamanga said he enjoys watching TN Stars “and whenever they are playing, I travel from Chatoloma to Kasungu Boma to watch and cheer them”.

He said he will venture into taxi business with the motorbike.

On his part, Mganga said Zampira Promotion was about transforming lives of TNM customers who are football fans.

“This is a life-changing promotion as people are living their dreams. This prize presentation of the sixth motorbike demonstrates TNM’s commitment towards fulfilling its promises to customers,” he said.

Mganga said TNM will continue with fan engagement initiatives to excite soccer lovers with airtime, cash and motorbikes as they count down to the ultimate prize of K1.5 million.
