To celebrate Malawi’s 50th Independence Anniversary with customers, TNMtoday announced the launch of TNM Ufulu@50, a promotion that will reward customers who recharge their TNM lines over the next 50 days, starting 6 July 2014.

A major highlight of the promotion is that winners in the grand draw will be asked to nominate a social project of their choice in which TNM will invest K2 million over the next 12 months.

Another milestone of TNM Ufulu@50 is that winners of daily and weekly draws will win back talk-time, SMS & data and cash amounts.

Head of Marketing Sobhuza Ngwenya said through the TNM Ufulu@50’ TNM would like to celebrate Malawi’s 50th Independence Anniversary with customers by giving back to every Malawian through rewards of airtime and data, Mpamba money and Community Development projects of customer’s choice.

Ngwenya emphasized why TNM is changing its rewarding and prizing approach with the TNM Ufulu@50 Promotion.

“Ufulu@50 is a trend-smash. TNM as a truly Malawian brand has decided to smash all barriers to rewards and prizes by giving every Malawian who uses the TNM network what they truly deserve. With Ufulu@50’ everyone who recharges their TNM number is a winner. With this commemorative promotion, TNM is saying that finally the pay day for everyone has arrived,” he said.

The Head of Marketing said for as long as TNM customers top-up with a minimum of K50 or more, they will win something to claim their share of prizes.

He said 50 winners will choose a community development project of their choice and which TNM will invest in. A total of K100 million worth of community development projects are up for grabs, and another K36.5 million for Cash and airtime will also be won.

“50 days, from 6th July, TNM through TNM Ufulu@50’ will dish out Cash, Airtime, SMS and Data. And in the next 12 months, we will invest K100 million towards Corporate Social Investment (CSR) activities of our customers choice,” he said.

TNM Ufulu@50’ has two categories of benefits to the customer. The first category is rewards of TNM Talk time, SMS, Data and Cash prizes to be won during weekly draws. The second category is investment in community development projects.

To qualify for either of the categories of benefits, customers are required to recharge their TNM phones with airtime in the ranges K50 to K10,000.
