Nsapato: It hasn’t been an easy road

“Since we launched the 2016 season, the elite league has registered mouth-watering action and high turn up of fans at the matches. It is our hope that the level of competition shall get even higher and the games will become even more competitive and exciting in the upcoming season,” he said.

Nsapato congratulated the team that will be crowned champions on Saturday and saluted those that are destined for relegation for putting up a good fight.

“It hasn’t been an easy road as demonstrated by the level of competition which shall see the champion being determined on the very last day.”

He also thanked all stakeholders, including supporters for turning up at the stadia to support their teams throughout the season.

“We have finished the 2016 season with minimal serious incidences of violence or hooliganism. This has been achieved because of the commitment of the fans, the clubs and football administrators to stamp out hooliganism,” said Nsapato.

In a related development, Nsapato  said  the Predict & Win promotion which TNM has been running concurrently with the 2016 season winds up tomorrow.

According to Nsapato, the final Predict & Win game is the match between defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets and Blue Eagles that will be played at Kamuzu Stadium tomorrow..

“This game is the last opportunity for soccer fans to increase their chances of winning the K1.5 million grand prize plus other weekly and monthly prizes such as airtime, K50 000 weekly and K100 000 monthly,” said Nsapato. n
