“We have just commissioned 18 new sites here in Lilongwe and these include Chinsapo, Chitipi, Area 49 and Mtandire just to mention a few. These developments are there to ensure our customers experience better quality service. As a thank you gesture and also to keep the youth active and nurture talent, we decided to sponsor a football tournament in each site,” said Mganga.

He said each site has been allocated K250 000.

Mganga said TNM support to the tournaments was an appreciation to their customers for preferring TNM services.

TNM also sponsors the country’s Super League.

In the Chinsapo finals, Kantolatola beat Super Lions 6-5 in penalty shoot-outs after the two teams tied 1-1 in normal time.

The tournament has been played for the past two months.
