TNM Sapota Mapeto accumulates K13.4m

TNM Sapota Mapeto SMS promotion has now accumulated K13.4 million for Super League teams with Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers earning a total of K11.7 million.

This was disclosed during the 10th draw of the promotion that was held on Tuesday in Blantyre.

Bullets, who emerged this season’s champions, remain the highest earning team having made K8.2 million from 259 893 accumulated hits.

The amount includes a one-off payment of K1 million for being the first team to hit 100 000 SMSs.

Wanderers come second with an accumulated revenue of K3.45 million from 123 470 hits. In the past two weeks, the Nomads generated K160 720 from 5 740 hits.

Silver Strikers come third on K1.2 million from 42 924 hits while Civo United are fourth having made K73 976 from 2 642 hits.

Red Lions remain the lowest earners on K4 480 from 160 hits.

TNM head of innovations Frank Magombo said Sapota Mapeto has been a great success this season as evidenced by the accumulated revenue for the teams.

“We want the teams to continue earning supplementary revenue and that is why we are continuing with the promotion after the season,” said Magombo.

The promotion will run up to January 25 2015. ■
