Wilderness Safaris Malawi organisers of Moon-Rock Festival are this Friday evening expected to invade Zanzi Night Club with a Traffic Light Party.

This event is happening ahead of the Moon-Rock Festival slated for Chintheche Inn in the northern Malawi district of Nkhata Bay between October 12 and 15.

“So, if you’re single, you wear green. If you’re taken, you wear red and if you’re not quite sure, you wear yellow. The comparison is made to a traffic light [green to go, red to stop and yellow which is midway],” said Roshenka de Mel, marketing co-ordinator for Wilderness Safaris Malawi.

She said during the event, several special events will take place.

“We will be handing out Moon-Rock Festival flyers. We will be running a free photo booth. We will be handing out free entry to the festival as a prize for the best dressed guy and girl in keeping with the theme,” she said.

Del Mel explained that in keeping with the theme, the team will also give free beer provided by Carlsberg Malawi for the first 50 entrants.

She said the money realised at the Traffic Light Party will go to environmental education programme run under Children in the Wilderness.

Del Mel added that through the party Wilderness safaris Malawi hopes to reach out to as many target audience as possible.
