Two men wanted for murder

Police in Dowa are looking for two brothers who are suspected of stabbing to death a 27-year-old man for allegedly having an affair with their sister. Dowa Police spokesperson Richard Kaponda yesterday said the deceased, Elemiya Yesani, fought with the two when he went to their home in Chimwezi Village in the district in search of their sister.

Robbers attack LL Petroda

At least 17 armed robbers broke into Area 25 Petroda Filling Station in Lilongwe in the early hours of Wednesdayafter they assaulted workers and guards on duty. Kanengo Police deputy spokesperson Salome Chibwana said the robbers went away with over K1.5 million and a Toyota Raum registration BLK2651, which they used as a getaway vehicle. The police have since recovered the vehicle.
