Uladi appointed acting PP president

Former president Joyce Banda has finally relinquished her position as leader of People’s Party (PP) and appointed vice-president responsible for Central Region Uladi Mussa in an acting capacity.

The appointment comes at a time there is growing discontent among members of the party’s members over their leader’s continued absence from the country after she lost the May 2014 general elections.PP publicity and administrative secretary Ken Msonda and Mussa confirmed the development.

“I have fully accepted the position to act on behalf of our president Dr Joyce Banda,’’ said Uladi.
