If I were

Uladi Mussa

Acting president of the People’s Party (PP), I would realise that finger-pointing on who was behind the pandemonium at a rally I planned to address in Mzuzu will not help resolve the internal wrangles that have rocked my party.

If I were ‘Chenji Golo’, I would exert my energy on uniting the warring camps other than further fuelling the divisions.

Oh yes, if only I were the PP new acting president, I would take the opportunity of my sting as the acting party leader to demonstrate politics of maturity by preaching unity.

If only I were Mussa, I would realise that the best way to resolve differences that have rocked the party is through contact and dialogue and not media outbursts. Only then can I earn respect of the party leaders.

I would also try to be in firm control by remaining neutral.

That is if only I were my man ‘Chenji Golo!’ Unfortunately I am not that flamboyant gentleman. PP!!! Yanyamuka!
