Use my services—Wati

Malawi’s representative in the just ended Africa’s leading reality show Big Brother Stargame Watipaso Kulemeka, has challenged the corporate sector to use his knowledge in architecture to change the landscape of the country.

He said this during a press conference upon arrival from Johannesburg, South Africa.

According to Wati, he wants to use his knowledge towards the development of Malawi.

“If you look at the road from the airport to where it joins the M1, in fact, all of the country’s major roads, they are not as impressive as is the case in other countries such as South Africa, for instance.

And if organisations can use my services as an architecture, together we can change Malawi,” said Wati.

“While I will be watching and gauging how Malawians view me after my stay in the Big Brother house, should there be need for my professional services, I am available,” he added.

Wati is in his final year of architectural studies at Legenda University in Malaysia.

Commenting on how he represented Malawi, Wati said: “Whatever people saw on TV about Wati is real, and I believe I could not have represented Malawi any better than that.

“In fact, every time Malawians were on my mind because I knew that apart from representing myself, I also carried the nation’s flag.”

MultiChoice Malawi manager for the Central and Northern regions Titania Katenga Kaunda said there are a lot of opportunities awaiting Wati from the corporate world.

“His future is very bright, but for the time being let us keep everything under wraps,” she said.
