WakaWaka, Blacks in Valentine combo

Lovers should brace themselves for massive times as trending entertainment paradise in Lilongwe, WakaWaka Hotel have partnered Black Missionaries in Valentine explosion show scheduled for Saturday.

According to the hotel’s managing director Nizeyimana Gilbert, the Valentine show, which has been sponsored by Funbact Intimate, is aimed at uniting loved ones to celebrate the spirit of valentine.

Funbact specialises in hygiene wash products for women.

“We are organising the show because as an entertainment place we see that it is important to enjoy the day with our customers and especially with those who want to celebrate with loved one the spirit of valentine. We are excited to have the Black Missionaries perform on the day,” said Gilbert.

He said they have chosen Chileka reggae kings because they have a large fun base in Lilongwe.

“Not only that but they have a lot of popular love songs that will create a conducive enjoying environment for the lovers who will be celebrating Valentine’s Day,” added Gilbert.

He also announced that special accord will be given to those customers with WakaWaka fidelity cards as they will enter free but only if they are accompanied by their lovely spouses.

“This offer is limited to our fidelity customers but for others they will have to pay K2 000 to get in. The show will start at 6pm until morning.

There will be lots of fun. The colours of the evening are Red and Black to suit the Valentine Day spirit,” said Gilbert.

Gilbert has also assured fans of quality sound and also uninterrupted electricity throughout the night to ensure that lovers get the valentine treat they deserve.

The Blacks will be supported by rising reggae outfit, the Native Wailers Band who are based in the Capital.

“This is our first show after the holiday we had and we want to make it a huge success,” said Anjiru Fumulani in a telephone interview from their base in Blantyre.
