Wanderers need restructuring—Osman

Mighty Wanderers FC technical director and seasoned tactician Yasin Osman has said the team needs complete restructuring if it is to restore the lost glory.

Osman said this in reaction to the Nomads’ 10th Super League defeat of the season at the hands of fellow strugglers Blantyre United who came out 1-0 victors on Saturday in Balaka courtesy of Tawonga Malenga’s first half strike.

WanderersNomads are experiencing one of their worst seasons in their history and they occupy ninth position with 27 points from 23 games.

“The club needs to face the harsh reality that there is lack of quality hence the need to buy four quality players—two strikers, a central attacking midfielder with a vision and a right winger. Crucially, we need an exceptional midfield playmaker in the mould of Robert Ng’ambi,” said Osman.

The Nomads’ legend also said the club needs to critically review its youth development programme.

Acting coach Kannock  Munde described the Nomads’ performance on Saturday as a big disappointment.
