Wanderers organise bonanza

Mighty Be Forward Wanderers will this weekend hold a soccer bonanza at Country Club Limbe (CCL) in Blantyre to select their squad for the next TNM Super League season.

Wanderers general secretary Mike Butao told The Nation yesterday that the two-day event will involve about 60 players from the main and reserve teams. The players will be divided into four teams.
He said the bonanza will be conducted from 8am to noon tomorrow and Sunday.
“We feel that the bonanza is the proper platform for coach Elia Kananji to separate chaff from wheat,” said Butao.
He explained that winners of the bonanza are assured of a yet to be disclosed prize as a motivator, adding that fans might be required to pay something at the gate.
