Wendy Harawa donates

At the weekend, gospel musician Wendy Harawa through her charity donated cement for the construction of a child care shelter.

The donation was made to 285 orphans and needy children who are under the care of 25-year-old Temwani Chilenga, a primary school teacher in Ndodana Village in Area 25, Lilongwe.

Chilenga called out to well-wishers to help her with either cement or iron sheets to complete the house she is building for the children.

After assessing the situation, Harawa says she feels there is need for more assistance and has called on other well-wishers to come forward and help Chilenga. n
