Wendy Harawa has become the first Malawian musician to feature Nigerian multi-award winning icons P Square and Zambian freestyle singer General Kanene in her fifth album which is expected to be out next month.

Harawa disclosed this recently in Blantyre during a Zambia versus Malawi show organised by Mibawa Band at BAT ground.

She said the 10-track album which comprises songs like Ndichikondi, Am Loving You and Amandinena will also feature other Zambian artists including Organized Family and Mwembe Muntu. She added that local musicians Lulu, Piksy and Armstrong have also been included.

However, Harawa said her six-year absence without releasing an album has assisted her to compose good songs which will help to bring happiness and change in the lives of her fans by taking them to another level.

“People should expect more fire works because it has all what it takes to be the best album of the year,” said Harawa.

She recently disclosed that her new album will be managed by Nde’feyo Entertainment.

“I think they can better manage the logistics while I concentrate on my music,” said the artist.

Although it has taken her so long to release an album, she hasn’t been sleeping. Harawa was recently featured in album launches for Nd’efeyo urban artists and accompanied the crew on their trip to South Africa.

She was also incorporated into Rising Choreos recent production No more Tears although she failed to make her debut acting performance in Lilongwe due to illness.

Harawa made aname after releasing albums like Hero, Nowa Kusowa, Mayi Nyimbo and Wendy and Friends.
