When fashion beckons old age

Rapper Limbani Kalilani alias Tay Grin is never short of fashion sense that dazzles the showbiz industry.

Barely months after his hairdo attracted debate in the entertainment circles, the self-proclaimed Nyau king is back with another fashion of gold beards, which is trending.

Tay Grin sporting gold beards

Tay Grin caught the attention of the public during his recent performance at Cockpit in Lilongwe. Since then, photos of his hairdo and gold beards have gone viral on the social media.

When he made his first public appearance with the hairdo alone, fans reacted coldly with others saying it was not looking good on him. They poked fun at him, comparing the style to a Ninja Turtle.

But as if learning from his first experience, Tay Grin has engaged an extra gear by fading his beards into gold to give himself a new look.

“Love everything about this picture. From hair to beards. I mean that top. OMG,” commented a fan on one of his recent pictures on Instagram.

Another one wrote: “Nigga’s rocking flowers like a G.”

On the new gold beards some labelled Tay Grin as a Santa Claus to which he reacted positively before his Cockpit show.

“Ghetto Santa giving away loads of presents tonight at Cockpit. Make sure you don’t miss out on tonight’s entertainment,” wrote Tay Grin.

In most cases, grey hair is a sign of old age. But not many young stars want to grow old or sport grey hair amid a youthful lifestyle, which commands them to stay youthful and urban.

However, zeal for fashion has seen artists such as Tay Grin wanting to grow old by fading their beards into gold. Do not be surprised when you see him losing his teeth or bending his back tomorrow because you never know what fashion will tell him to do next.
