Will Natasha become the next diamond housemate?

Natasha put to the test again

When Zimbabwen housemate Munyaradzi Chidzonga kept being on the nomination list for eviction each week he was eventually crowned the diamond boy.

Now in Big Brother Africa The Chase, it seems the title will go to Malawian housemate Natasha Tonthola who has appeared on the nomination list three times and is still in the game with a fourth nomination yet to be decided tonight.

Munya, as he was commonly known in the game, reached a point where even Big Brother decided to favour him by sending him to visit a Big Brother house in Finland.

But will Natasha find the same favour?

If BBA presenter IK’s observations on Sunday are anything to go by, maybe the Malawian might be finding some favour.

At exactly 8.34 pm Sunday, IK—who was wondering if Natasha would sail through—announced that the Malawian was safe. An excited Natasha rushed outside the house and blew kisses to thank Africa for voting for her.

The Malawian dame may have had it, and feels fellow housemates are against her, to the point that she addressed her fellow Rubies to plead with them not to nominate her again after the third nomination. However, on Monday she found herself back on the nomination list.

Unlike last week, when she was an emotional wreck because of her nomination, this week Natasha has been her bubbly self perhaps bursting with confidence as Africa has saved her more times than any other housemate.

Ruby housemates Natasha, Bolt and Pokello and Diamond’s Annabel, Dillish, Hakeem and Maria are in danger of eviction this Sunday. The list has two sets of compatriots Maria and Dillish from Namibia as well as Zimbabwe’s Hakeem and Pokello.

So far, Zambia and Malawi have consistently voted for the same housemate in Natasha popularly called Mama Africa by her continental fans.

The Zambian vote is important for Natasha since Zimbabweans will be voting for their own Pokello and Hakeem.

But the question remains: will Natasha survive this time around and become indispensable? n
