Winners Chapel prepares for Shiloh

Christians from the Malawi Chapter of Winners Chapel are preparing for a five-day Shiloh, a global convention which ushers the church into the New Year.
The convention starts on December 9. Main events will be led by the church’s founder and President Bishop David Oyedepo at Canaanland, the church’s headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria and relayed via satellite to the rest of the world.
Resident Pastor Richard Atiayao said in an interview recently that Shiloh is a special time when the church’s faithful reflect on a preceding year and look forward to the next.
“We regard it as a time to collect our balance. Satan might have withheld some blessings destined for us and this is the time we collect them,” he said.
In preparation for the event, Atiayao said the Malawi church has been holding prayers every Sunday to ensure its success.
He added that there will also be a street carnival a week before the event in Lilongwe.
The 2014 theme is: “heaven on earth”.
