Fisd Wizards goalkeeper Brightone Munthali and defender Levison Maganizo, whose services are being sought by three Super League big guns, have said they are yet to decide on which team to join.

TNM Super League champions Big Bullets, Be Forward Wanderers and Silver Strikers have expressed interest to sign the duo.

Munthali on Monday said he has sought guidance from Wizards’ owner and technical director (TD) Peter Mponda.

“It is a bit tricky because I have never been in such a situation before and under such circumstances, I have thought it wise to seek the TD’s guidance.

“He is my personal adviser and I have asked him to help me,” he said.

On his part, Maganizo—who made his Flames debut at the East and Central Africa Senior Challenge Cup in Ethiopia last month—also said he has left it in the hands of Mponda.

“He [Mponda] is better placed to negotiate deals that will be in our interest. So, as of now I cannot say which team I would prefer to join,” he said.

Mponda said he will first meet the players to get their personal terms.

“I think we will have to put the interest of the players first. The team that will offer good terms for the lads will stand a chance of being offered the players,” he said.

Wizards have already received a letter of intent from Bullets and preliminary talks with Wanderers officials were held while Silver Strikers are expected to make their offer tomorrow.

Apart from the two players, Silver and Wanderers are also interested in Ernest Tambe while Bullets want Rafiq Namwera. n
