World Bible Church opens branch in Blantyre

Nsanje-based World Bible Church has launched a branch in Namiyango Township in Blantyre with a call to have broken families re-united.

The launch was marked with women’s conference spiced up with a revival crusade at Bangwe’s desert ground.

Founder of the church, Apostle Albert Dwart Chilemba in an interview said the coming of the church into town is meant to have broken families re-united and let love prevail in the families.

“As a church, we want women to support their husbands to have strong relationships and end up with a strong church,” said Chilemba.

The church’s administrator, Funny Phiri, said they organised the women’s conference to let the women know their role in the church, saying as Christians they have a big role in the management of the church.

“The role of women in their families and the church are critical and they should uphold that at all cost,” said Phiri.

Apostle Bramwell Peter Botha from Mzuzu challenged the gathering that his role as a man of God is to help people earn eternal life, “and not to eternal shame where there will be gnashing of teeth day and night”.

Apostle Emmanuel Lumwira, who hosted Chilemba, told residents and pastors in the area that it is time churches that started in rural areas came into town so that the word of God is spread everywhere. n
