Hordes of youths descended upon Ozone Refreshment in Machinjiri on Sunday to chill out to the vibes from equally youthful urban artists.

Mango Entertainment brought on show Young Kay, Kumbu, Blakjak, Dare Devils, Don Dadas and Brown Spade, among others, in a jive dubbed Dance Wefu Wefu.

From the patronage, and the warm reception the artists got, it was clear youth in the ghettos are starved of fun, a gap the outfit sought to fill.

“It was a great afternoon seeing our superstars perform. It’s been so long since I saw artists like Young Kay and Kumbu on stage,” said Daniel Kawinga, a patron as his colleagues kept chanting Tinakwera Young Kay!

For Mango Entertainment’s Steven Kamanga, the patronage was impressive and the artists gave their all.

“We will be heading to Lilongwe by December. We hope to take a garden party there, like the one we had at the Steers Gardens a couple of weeks ago,” said Kamanga.
