Youths to shake Blantyre

Fountain of Victory International Ministries, a non-denominational ministry based in Blantyre, will from 19 to 20 October hold an annual youth conference at the Blantyre Youth Centre.

The conference has been organised by the youth wing of the ministry, known as the Christian Gang.

Chairperson for the organising committee, Albert Mlomba, said the event is aimed at shaping the youth in the country to become influential in the church and society.

“Our target is to raise a generation of young people who will become influential in all spheres of life; hence, the theme for the conference is the generation of influence. Young people in our society are being affected negatively by ungodly conduct such as immorality and, consequently, they are being destroyed. We want to build a generation which will live as overcomers,’’ he said.

Mlomba encouraged young people who have lost hope after encountering problems to come and be liberated by the word of God.

“When God has called for a gathering, he has a specific agenda and those who are bound should not miss this opportunity as they will gain their freedom. Much more, they will discover the real path of life,’’ he said.
