Memory Zachariah on Sunday inspired Kamuzu Barracks to go top in the K1 million (about $2 500) Central Region Peter Mutharika Women Football League.

KB walloped Factured 8-0 at Don Bosco ground. The game officiated by Charity Ndozi Mlumbe.

Zachariah scored six goals in the triumph, taking her tally to eight goals. The other two goals were scored by Modester Jamu and Cathy Chidothi.

Bridget Solobala scored for Queens while Zione Chisama scored for Children of Nations.

On the Golden Boot race, Chiyembekeza and Skippers Youth’s striker Mbinyo Pafupi are tied at top with nine goals each.

Zachariah is second with eight goals while Linda Kasenda is on third position with six goals.
