For the first time, she will be joined on stage by her two backing vocalists.

Mampi starts her tour with a gig at Mungo Park in Malawi’s capital, Lilongwe, on March 28. The following day, she will perform at Robins Park in the commercial city, Blantyre, before storming Zitherepano in the lakeshore district of Mangochi the following night. She will conclude her tour with two shows in Lilongwe.

On the 31st, she will perform at Lilongwe Golf Club in the afternoon then on 1st April at Tilipano.

“All is set for all the five shows. For the first time, Mampi will perform with her two backing vocalists who will add colour and entertainment to all the shows. In the past, she has been coming with her dancers only,” said Abel Kumwenda of Phindu Promotions, the firm bringing Mampi to Malawi for the third time.

Locally, the Black Missionaries alongside Anthony Makondetsa, Lucius Banda, Skeffa Chimoto, Piksy, Armstrong and Maskal will also perform at the shows.
