During the draw, TNM splashed K100 000 each to two lucky winners and K50 000 each to three winners who predicted the result of the match between Silver Strikers and   Be Forward Wanderers  which ended goalless.

The match registered 17 678 entries, 410 of them correct ones.

Mulanje-based Nyasa Big Bullets supporter Eric Potani was one of the winners who walked away with K100 000.

When Nsapato called him to break the news, Potani said he was excited to win the prize.

The promotion continues to register an increase in number of participants, a sign that local soccer fans have great passion and knowledge of the domestic league, according to Nsapato.

“Looking at the numbers we have registered, it is clear that people have embraced the promotion which has created a platform for the sponsors to actively engage soccer fans throughout the 2017 TNM Super League season,” he said.

Nsapato said in the three months the company has registered 66 907 predictions.

Launched on June 7, subscribers send an SMS of their prediction to code 1515 for selected game.

TNM has been splashing K50 000 and K100 000 monthly ahead of the grand prize of K1.5 million.

Super League of Malawi (Sulom) general secretary Willams Banda thanked TNM for the promotion and urged football fans to continue sending predictions when the second round kicks off this tomorrow. n
