Zampira champs predictions close next week
TNM Plc has announced that it will conclude receiving predictions of 2017 TNM Super League champions in Zampira Promotion on August 31.
In the promotion, apart from predicting weekly results, football fans can also pick a team they think will win the championship.
TNM senior manager-public relations Akossa Hiwa, speaking during the weekly draw yesterday, called on football supporters who have not yet sent their champions’ predictions to do so before the closing date.
She said: “Football fans simply have to text the name of the team they think will win the League to the number 1515. The prediction for the winning team commenced in May and ends this month, after which two fans will walk away with K250 000 each at the end of the season.”
During the 11th weekly draw, TNM splashed out K50 000 to three fans, who made correct predictions for the Lilongwe derby between Civil Sporting and Silver Strikers which ended 2-1 in favour of the Bankers.
“The Zampira Promotion continues to register an increase in participants as evidenced by the statistics of the 11th draw. This is very encouraging,” said Hiwa.
To participate in the promotion, subscribers are required to send an SMS of their prediction to the code 1515 for the selected game.
The grand prize of K 1.5 million will be given to the winner at the end of the season.
Super League of Malawi (Sulom) general secretary Williams Banda said the promotion is unique in that it gives supporters and TNM to interact through the SMS predictions.
“Supporters follow the Super League action and they are capable of making correct predictions and win the prizes,” he said. n
