Zani Challe gets AMI nomination
South Africa based Malawian artists Zani Challe has started the year on a good note having been nominated for the 2018 African Music Industry (AMI) Awards also known as the Afrika Awards.
As the artist continues to gain international limelight, she has been nominated in the Best Female Newcomer category of the awards with her song Chikondi Chako.
According to www.amiawardsafrika.com/pc-nominees she faces competition from Uganda’s Lydia Jazmine, Vinka, Stamina Daddy and Irene Ntale, Nandy and Maua Sama both from Tanzania, ML from Namibia, Young Grace from Rwanda and Ebony from Ghana, who died a
few days ago.
Meanwhile an excited Challe told Nation Online, she is leaving no stone unturned in garnering more votes in order to win the category.

This is not the first time for Zani to be nominated for international awards but that is just how far she has gone.
