An up-and-coming musician Zizipizgani Beza aka Zizi-B, who courted controversy for claiming ownership of Tay Grin’s Chipapapa song, says he will release a video of his version of the song next month.

His song, based on a childhood game called Chipapapa, tackles the plight of street kids who find solace in playing the game.

Zizi-B told The Nation that his fans pressurised him to drop a video after coming to the limelight last month when he daringly accused the Nyau King of redoing his song.

“I already had plans of shooting a video, but my fans have been pressurising me to release the song earlier. So, I have no choice but to obey their wish. By end of next month the video will be out,” he said on Sunday.

Zizi-B, a Form Four Student at Pact Secondary School in Blantyre, said the video is being edited by Twin Beats at 123 Records.

Meanwhile, Tay Grin is also shooting a video of his song which features Nigerian legendary singer 2Baba in South Africa with a budget of K5.5 million. The song is expected to be out soon.
