Today promises to be another exciting day for Mzuzu City residents when they bid farewell to the year 2012 by witnessing a convergence of the country’s various gospel kingpins at Katoto Secondary School.

The religious music derby is the work of Zolozolo West CCAP church which seeks to use the gathering to launch the church choir’s CD and raise money for the church’s manse project.

The choir’s director Franklin Hara told the media recently that the church choir has produced a 10-tracck album, Uchizi wa Yehova.

“The CD launch will be supported by Thocco Katimba, Ruth Misi, Katawa Singers and Dhyton Mbewe, among other artists. We want to help people enter the year 2013 with God,” said Hara.

He said the church will come up with another festival on January 13 to mobilise support for the construction of the church’s Matope Trial Congregation manse.
