He said this on Saturday during the presentation of awards to students who passed with an aggregate of six to nine points during the 2014/15 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations, among others.

He said the school is short of teaching and learning materials among other problems. “We call upon alumni, government and other well-wishers to bail out the school,” he said.

School head teacher Brother Hans Murakho said in the previous academic year, out of 89 students who sat for MSCE exams, 86 passed and 46 passed with grades between six and 15 points.

Zomba City Constituency member of Parliament (MP) Patricia Kainga (People’s Party) commended the institution for producing good results despite the challenges it is encountering. n
