First Capital Bank launches new promo

First Capital Bank has launched a new promotion dubbed 5 Mita Ipite to enhance progressive digital financial inclusion.

During the six month-promotion, one lucky customer will win a K5 million prize.

Georgopoulos: We provide customers with digital platforms

Speaking during the launch in Blantyre on Friday, First Capital Bank chief executive officer Spiro Georgopoulos said they want to provide customers with digital platforms that make banking convenient.

He said: “We are living in a digital era and the banks have made a point for customers to bank wherever and whenever through our products.

“Through this promotion, customers will also stand a chance to walk away with monthly prizes that include K1 million, smartphones, branded T-shirts and caps.”

The bank’s regional manager for South and Central Gavin Moyo said the first 1 000 mobile app customers will have a K2 000 rebate into their account.

“During this period, we will also conduct market activations campaign in all regions to target the acquisition of accounts, deposit mobilisation and other services in key market places where lucky customers will win T-shirts and Bluetooth speakers,” he said.

To enter the promotion, new and existing customers are expected to maintain a minimum bank balance of K20 000 in their account and perform two digital and card swipe or automated teller machine transaction.
