A Lilongwe-based taxi driver Kondwani Khusa has won K24 million in Jackpot 13, a product for sport betting and lotto games firm, Premier Bet.

Under the product, one has to correctly predict the outcome of 13 football matches played globally.

Speaking on Wednesday during a cheque presentation in Lilongwe, Khusa said he was overwhelmed with his success having paid K480 for the winning ticket.

“I am excited to be the winner. I will invest the money in new cars to boost my taxi business,” said the 29-year-old from Chiphe Village, Traditional Authority Chiseka in Lilongwe.

Meanwhile, Central Region Premier Bet area manager Daniel Fachi said Khusa was the first winner of Jackpot 13.

“What it means is that the product, though just new on the market, has potential to make more instant millionaires,” he said.
