South African artists Mafikizolo and Zanda Zakuza have confirmed in separate video clips posted on their official social media pages that they will perform in Malawi during Kell Kay’s Ndabwera ndi Nkhani album launch this Sunday.

In a video clip, which Kell Kay also shared, the Mafikizolo duo of Nhlanhla Nciza and Theo Kgosinkwe said they will be in Malawi on Sunday, May 22 to support Kell Kay.

Ready to support Kell Kay: Mafikizolo duo

“Muli bwanji Malawi. Guys, this is Mafikizolo. We are excited. We are coming to Malawi on the 22 of May to support Kell Kay at Lilongwe Golf Club. See you there,” said the two.

And on her part, Zanda Zakuza encouraged fans to get their tickets ready.

She said: “Hello everyone, my name is Zanda Zakuza. On the 22, I will be performing at Kell Kay’s album launch alongside Mafikizolo. Get your tickets and I will see you there.”

Speaking earlier, Kell Kay said though his album launch will have a long list of popular artists, he is the main player and all artists performing know their time of stage is limited.

“I am the main player. Each supporting artist has about 15 to 20 minutes on stage,” he said.

The artist said preparations for the event are going on well.

One of his managers, Levi Msakambewa said Kell Kay is ready with his band and fans should expect extraordinary performances.

“We need to take our music across the world and I think we are very close,” he said.

Other artists set to support the album launch include Black Missionaries Band, The Great Angels Choir, Phyzix, Saint, Driemo, Piksy, Teddy and Jay Jay Cee. n
