State Owned Enterprises (SOE) Performance
58. Madam Speaker, Government continues to implement
the migration of SOE’s revenue accounts to the Reserve Bank
of Malawi which is currently in the second phase targeting all
commercial SOEs and subvented organizations. This phase is
expected to be concluded by the end of this fiscal year.
Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets
59. Madam Speaker, let me update this August House that
my Ministry through the Public Procurement and Disposal of
Assets Authority (PPDA) has been working on the review of
the PPDA Act to improve efficiency in the procurement
processes. The Bill has been brought to this House for
consideration and adoption.
Public Finance Management Reforms
60. Government continues to implement public finance
management reforms in collaboration with various
development partners. Madam Speaker, I am delighted that
