In the same vein, Madam Speaker, I want to thank the various

motorcycle Associations who have been instrumental to

have this initiative implemented. While they will ensure their

members are better equipped for our roads, the Government

will also raise some revenue. We believe this is a win-win

scenario that we should all strive for.

iv. Expanding Electronic Payments Across Revenue-

Collecting Entities.

Madam Speaker, Government is committed to re-

engineer its business processes with a view to modernize

revenue collection through electronic payment system.

In this drive, I am pleased to report to the August House

that the Ministry of Lands and the Department of the

Registrar General have already implemented full

digitalization of their revenue collection and

management systems, which have led to a significant

increase in revenue collected in the first half of the fiscal

year. It is therefore evident that the digitalization drive is
