reducing leakages, increasing accountability and

enhancing convenience to the public.

61. Madam Speaker, these measures reflect Government's

commitment to enhancing revenue collection, promoting

compliance and addressing fiscal pressures. I therefore call

upon all Honourable Members to support these initiatives for

the benefit of our nation.

64. Madam Speaker, in addition to the revenue

enhancement measures I have just outlined above, I wish to

emphasize that the expenditure control measures that will be

announced are equally critical if the fiscal deficit is to be

managed.

SUBMISSION

65. Madam Speaker, the August House is hereby invited to

note the mid-year performance of the 2024-25 Budget, as

well as to consider and deliberate on the proposed Revised
